Our client is a prominent global biopharmaceutical company establishing a significant presence in Boston. They are hiring a Senior Director of Global Franchise Communications who will lead communications activities for a portfolio of pipeline/medicines.
This role is based in the Boston, MA area, and only candidates residing in this geography or willing to relocate will be considered. Remote work or telecommuting options are not available.
We are looking for someone who understands the communications and campaign requirements for reaching a wide range of key audiences, including patients, healthcare professionals, the financial community (investors, analysts), media, employees, partners, academics and researchers, patient advocacy groups and policymakers.
The Senior Director will develop a global communications strategy, which includes planning, execution and delivery for the portfolio from pipeline/medicines across external, collaboration and internal stakeholders and channels.
Is this you
- 12+ years of experience working in-house at a global pharmaceutical or biotech company.
- Proven track record in delivering impactful communications programs.
- Expertise in regulatory environment and compliance framework.
- Experience leading issues management for global brands/disease areas.
- Strong media relations experience.
- Experience building solid relations with patient advocacy groups.
- Experience using digital/social channels to engage key stakeholders.
- Able to influence and counsel senior leaders and teams across functions and geographical boundaries.
- Understand cultural differences.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
- Experience in creating and translating scientific/technical content for a broad range of audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree
