As the Senior Biotech IT Infrastructure Lead at US headquarters in Raleigh, NC, this pivotal role oversees the design, deployment, and leadership of information systems and technologies focused on new Cell & Gene Therapy Center of Excellence in Research Triangle Park (RTP).  In this role you will play a key role in recruiting, nurturing, and retaining a high-performing team of IT professionals, driving the IT strategy for RTP and beyond. Your responsibilities include orchestrating the implementation of critical systems such as enterprise and laboratory management systems, analytics, and business systems to support operational excellence and growth. Additionally, you will manage the IT capital and operating budgets to ensure strategic resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic IT Execution: Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with the overarching business and operational goals U.S. and global IT objectives.
• Technology Leadership: Provide clear direction and oversee efficient implementation, maintenance, and budget management with the IT team.
• Project Management: Lead key IT projects locally and globally, supporting business scalability, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Global Collaboration: Collaborate with the Global IT Organization to share best practices and contribute to global IT initiatives.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrate deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, including network, server, storage, cloud, virtualization, and security technologies.
• GxP Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to GxP/GMP/CSV regulations and data security standards.
• Business Partnership: Partner with business stakeholders to identify and implement IT solutions supporting their needs and strategic objectives.
• Agile & Collaborative Leadership: Navigate ambiguity, communicate effectively, and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Reporting: Report directly to the (Global) Head of Infrastructure.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in Pharma/Biopharmaceutical or CRO/CDMO industries.
• Proven track record of leading and motivating IT teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in planning, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure in regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of GxP/GMP/CSV framework and software validation requirements.
• Proven experience in setting up LIMS capabilities in according with a growing scientific organization. 
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization with international stakeholders.

Desired Skills:
• Experience in global organizations.
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies, ITSM, etc.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP).

Salary Range: $100-130,000 per year.
