Sales and Business Manager

Our client is a leading global consumer brand in the food and beverage space. They are looking for a Sales & Business Manager to help meet customer and revenue growth targets. This person will play a vital role in the sales department overseeing key customer accounts and broker relationships.  As a customer partner, this person will demonstrate a thorough understanding of customer business needs and will help build and execute strategies to support those goals.

The Role

  • Build and execute customer plans to achieve volume objectives
  • Day-to-day customer sales interface, building strong relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Delivering budgeted volume and profit by developing business relationships to drive business results
  • Developing and implementing trade/consumer programs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Compile, analyze, and communicate daily, weekly and monthly sales data and insights using Nielsen & other POS data.

The Profile

  • Demonstrated CPG industry or sales experience including: Manufacturer Sales and/or Marketing, Syndicated Data Supplier, Broker
  • Strong financial acumen necessary to establish and manage gross sales goals and promotional budgets
  • BA/BS Degree
  • Previous experience working with syndicated data sources
  • Comfortable presenting to both external customers as well as internal leadership teams
