Sales Analyst

Our client is a leading global consumer brand in the food and beverage space. They are looking for a Sales Analyst to conduct sales and market analysis deriving actionable insights to improve sales and profitability.

The Role:

  • Collects data from sales reports, company budgets and retailers for analysis and insight generation
  • Develops methods and strategies for assessing large amounts of data
  • Review historical product and retailer sales to identify trends
  • Conduct competitive assessments
  • Studies shopping and purchase trends of consumer base and target demographic
  • Uses sales prediction software to determine future trends
  • Presents sales reports and insights to leadership and sales team
  • Suggests adjustments and revisions to promotional strategies to improve sales and profitability
  • Attends and participates in sales strategy meetings

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience and knowledge in the CPG industry – dairy a plus
  • Expertise in analyzing IRI and Nielsen data
  • Strong analytical acumen with the ability to generate actional and creative insights and strategies
  • Ability to translate data for non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated familiarity with budget software and budget analysis
