Our client is a global professional services firm.  A leader in their space, they’re looking to add a Marketing Manager to focus on growing a specific practice within the company.

The Marketing Manager will develop and execute marketing and business development programs for both new and existing clients. The right person will help shape GTM strategy, create sales enablement documents and execute key campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Work with industry leadership to identify market opportunities and target audiences

• Collaborate with client growth team members to develop and manage market-specific campaigns, marketing collateral, events, and content

• Maintain a strong knowledge of respective market,  including business trends and competitive landscape for legal services

• Identify potential press opportunities, and collaborate with office and firmwide marketing staff to turn those opportunities into media exposure.  Identify attorneys to be sources with key media contacts.

• Work closely with lawyers, client growth team members and Firmwide personnel to develop strategic approach to significant opportunities and assist with creating proposal content, preparing RFP responses, writing proposals, creating presentations and maintaining practice qualifications for new business

• Support business development efforts by identifying potential leads, collecting and sharing market and industry intelligence, representing the firm at networking events, tracking business development activity, and identifying relevant professional and trade associations

• Collaborate with Pitch and Proposal team to provide insight and feedback on campaigns

• Own the documentation, management and transfer of the practice’s business development and marketing norms, protocols, and ensure that all team members globally are equipped with the institutional knowledge to support the practice

• Develop and maintain personal connections in the business community to help in lead generation

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ seven years of marketing or business development role within a professional services, legal or financial services firm

• Demonstrated knowledge of the global marketplace for professional services

• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills

• Outstanding project management skills and the ability to juggle competing, shifting priorities

• Excellent attention to detail

• Consistent ability to meet deadlines

• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to work
