Comp: $180–200k base | $250–300k OTE + equity
The Opportunity
I’m leading a search for a Founding GTM Lead at a well-funded, early-stage fintech company building AI-driven solutions for finance operations.
The company recently raised a large Series A and is already seeing strong early traction, including meaningful improvements in collections performance, operating efficiency, and customer engagement.
This is not a traditional sales leadership role. It’s a full-stack GTM position where you’ll build pipeline, close deals, and architect the system behind it.
What You’ll Own
- Build and execute GTM strategy from the ground up
- Manage and develop a small team (2 BDRs + 1 AE)
- Own ICP definition, messaging, and outbound motion
- Design and optimize the GTM stack (HubSpot, Clay, etc.)
- Run full-cycle sales after an initial ramp period
- Partner directly with the CEO and founding team
Ideal Profile
- 3–8 years of experience in startup SaaS or fintech GTM roles
- Strong sales background with full-cycle experience
- Systems thinker who understands the tech behind the motion
- Experience in Series A/B environments
- Leadership capability or clear trajectory toward it
Must-Haves
- Startup sales experience
- Experience with CRM / GTM tooling (HubSpot, Clay, etc.)
- Track record closing $25K–$250K ACV deals
Nice-to-Haves
- Fintech exposure
- Entrepreneurial or builder background
- Strong academic pedigree
Who Thrives Here
- Highly competitive, “athlete mentality” individuals
- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-expectation environments
- Builders who want ownership, not a narrow lane
- Operators who want to define a category, not just sell into one
Why This Role
- True ownership of the GTM function at a breakout-stage company
- Direct line to the CEO
- Meaningful equity upside
- High-intensity, high-reward environment
