Director Program & Alliance Management
Location: Lexington, MA (4-days on-site/1 WFH)
HireMinds is eager to speak with top Program Management experts for an established and intimately sized biotech client of ours that is located in Metro-West Boston area. In this role you’ll report to and work intimately with the Vice President, Program and Alliance Management. As a Program Manager you will provide leadership for one or more development pipeline programs and partnered programs within a growing biopharmaceutical product portfolio. This role emphasizes hands-on program management, requiring the ability to develop dashboards, Gantt charts, and PowerPoint presentations. You’ll additionally be able to work with a hands-on C-level leadership team and present updates and key deliverables to them on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will thrive in a Biotech evolving environment and possess an outgoing personality conducive to guiding teams to successful outcomes for patients in need.
Responsibilities:
- Lead global program teams and sub-teams to advance product candidates, ensuring alignment with company strategy.
- Collaborate with functional leaders to develop integrated development plans, including critical path activities and milestones.
- Build influential relationships with executive leaders to align program operations with company objectives, identifying and mitigating risks as needed.
- Develop and maintain clear, concise dashboards and reporting tools to communicate program progress across the organization.
- Identify and manage program risks through mitigation strategies and scenario planning, proposing solutions to senior leadership.
- Facilitate team meetings, develop agendas, capture minutes, and ensure action items are completed.
- Work with finance and functional leads to refine program assumptions and budgets during forecasting cycles.
- Support strategic alliances for meeting contract requirements and partnership objectives.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS, MS, or PhD. With 10 years of industry experience and experience leading drug programs through development phases to ideally commercial products.
- 10+ years of biopharma industry experience, with substantial program leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of drug development processes and regulatory requirements.
- Proven success in program management from preclinical through late-stage clinical development.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Smartsheet) and dashboard programs including: Gantt charts and Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Commitment to ethical standards and compliance.
Salary Range: $200-255k, 20-25% bonus target
