Data Science Manager – Confidential Professional Services Firm
A leading global professional services firm is seeking an experienced Data Science Manager to lead and scale its enterprise data initiatives. This strategic role will drive the development of AI-driven solutions, modernize data infrastructure, and oversee a multidisciplinary team including Data Engineers, Architects, and Analysts. The Data Science Manager will play a critical part in shaping the firm’s data strategy while fostering innovation, compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the firm’s data and AI strategy in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders across Finance, HR, Business Development, and other departments.

Build and lead a high-performing data team to support enterprise decision-making and automation initiatives.

Design and maintain scalable, secure, and compliant data pipelines and infrastructure.

Partner with data governance, legal, and IT security teams to ensure alignment with privacy regulations and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).

Operationalize machine learning models and advanced analytics to improve internal processes and client services.

Translate complex technical insights into actionable business strategies for non-technical stakeholders.

Own the lifecycle of data platforms, including architecture, integration, and change management.

Mentor and develop team members while promoting a collaborative and results-driven culture.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degrees and relevant certifications strongly preferred.

8+ years of hands-on experience in data science, data engineering, or analytics roles.

5+ years of leadership experience in a professional services, legal, or highly regulated environment.

Proven expertise in cloud data platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure), Power BI, Tableau, and enterprise analytics tools.

Strong knowledge of data governance, compliance, and legal industry systems is highly desirable.
