Sr. Manager, Social and Content

Hireminds has been engaged to hire a Sr. Manager, Content and Social for our client’s rapidly growing team. This person will play a critical role in their success by owning the cross-channel social, editorial and content strategy and maximizing engagement with their community. We're looking for a strategic and creative leader who can manage both hitting short-term needs and long-term strategic goals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Be an advocate for and steward of our voice and tone, ensuring content is on-brand
  • Build an editorial and social calendar that not only drives brand awareness and engagement, but also true “product consideration” in order to make us stand out as a consumer technology platform
  • Energize team with your ideas and facilitate development of new content marketing formats (new blog, newsletters, podcasts, video testimonials etc.) and assist in its storytelling
  • Build and manage paid media approach for boosted posts on owned channels
  • Measure the effectiveness and impact of our content and social performance and make adjustments and recommendations for improvement

Requirements: 

  • 4-6 years of experience in content and social media marketing from an innovative, product-oriented direct to consumer company or e-commerce brand
  • Proven record of creative and innovation excellence in the social media space
  • Ability to write best-in-class creative briefs to ensure all content and creative truly delivers on customer insights and pain points
  • Ability to measure/report on your success using social analytics and traffic measurement tools 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
