Research Associate (RA- Princ RA)– Gene editing
Job Description:
We are a stealth-mode biotechnology company specializing in the development and delivery of RNA based therapeutics. We are seeking a talented individual with a cell-based screening experience to join our gene editing project. The ideal candidate will have experience with cell culture, transfections, NGS library preps, qPCR/ddPCR. The candidate will contribute to optimization of novel gene-editing tools and collaborate with others in the team for further development of identified leads.
Job Requirements:
B.S or B.A in Biology, Biotechnology, or related discipline.
The level of hire commensurate with the candidate experience
Cell Culture Experience (293T, HeLa, primary cells are a plus)
Transfection
Illumina NGS library preparation
Proficiency with high-throughput instrumentation (i.e. Mantis, Multidrop Combi, Bravo, Biomek etc.) is a plus
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
