The Job:
- Prepare and review SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and update disclosure checklists to ensure all necessary information is included in filings.
- Ensure the company is in compliance with all financial policies, US GAAP, and SEC-related reporting requirements.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to protect company assets and ensure the integrity of financial records.
- Coordinate with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in SEC reporting, public accounting audit experience within public companies preferred
