In this Scientist role, you’ll contribute to and/or lead several areas:

Development of a robust, autologous reprogramming process from circulating cell types

Development and implementation of process methods for the production of primary and iPS-derived cells for tissue engineering applications

Production of cells for R&D purposes
-
Collaborations and tech transfer activities
-
Development and implementation of analytical methods to characterize quality and suitability of iPS-derived cells for tissue engineering applications

Selection, purchase, and implementation of laboratory equipment
-
Laboratory methods and protocols
-
Evaluating new technologies for future process development
-
Ensure process and methods for production of iPS-derived cells are GMP-ready
-
Author and contribute to scientific publications, IP, and regulatory filings

Prepare and present data both internally and at scientific conferences
Requirements:

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in bioengineering, cell biology, molecular biology, or other related discipline

Hands-on experience in stem cell reprogramming and differentiation
-
Expertise in bioreactor scale-up, regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, stem cell production
-
Knowledge in transfer of methods to GMP
