Sales Director (Sales Management)

We expanded from a handful of apartments in Boston to over 80 cities, 34 states, and growing rapidly with leading residential property owners and managers who share the same commitment to building stronger communities; and we help their business grow by helping them attract and retain happier residents.

This is a unique opportunity to join our leadership team, coaching and managing the founding sales team. You will be responsible for leading fast-paced expansion by leading the team of AEs, selling to national and regional property owners and managers. This is our first sales leadership hire. 

We are building human connections and a sense of community. Beyond the primary focus of the role to achieve sales goals, you will also work with our CEO, COO, VP Product to establish our sales process, practices, tools, and playbook.


We are looking for a sales leader to:

  • Scale the sales team in FTEs and ARR from ~$2M to the next level. 
  • Manage and lead the sales team to exceed sales targets
  • Contribute to sales leadership collaboratively as a compliment product development and customer feedback 
  • Inspire and provide strong leadership to the team to ensure motivation through all aspects of the sales process
  • Optimize sales motion to improve efficiency and win rates
  • Manage and own enterprise sales flow
  • Help the team maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest
  • Help ramp new AEs identify strong prospects, co-sell deals with them as they as the learn the business 
  • Collect market intelligence and competitive information
  • Prioritize opportunities and apply appropriate resources
  • Contribute to the product roadmap with first-hand customer feedback/market research

Who You Are:

  • 3-4+ years of SaaS sales management experience leading a team of AEs 
  • Proven history of scaling young companies from $0/$1M –> 5M+ 
  • Strong history of people management and proclivity toward collaborative team leadership
  • Have the ability to work within a fast-paced hyper-growth environment
  • Passionate about customer experience
