Our client is a Series B gene therapy start-up in the suburbs of Boston/Cambridge with proprietary AAV IP born out of Harvard Medical. They are well-funded and growing!
In this role, you will be supporting the development of analytical methods to support preclinical studies using platforms such as ddPCR, qPCR, Western Blotting, and ELISA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
• Execute routine sample testing and support implementing new laboratory workflows and continuous improvement efforts
• Document laboratory experiments, review peer data, organize experimental results for further analysis
• Work cross-functionally with other laboratory groups for timely generation of data
• Assist with transfer of qualified assay methods to cross-functional teams and CRO partners as needed

Qualified candidates will have a BS or MS degree in a scientific discipline and 1-2+ years of relevant academic research and/or R&D experience. Must have experience performing ELISA and ddPCR methods. Ideal candidates will also have experience in analysis of preclinical samples for biomarker, biodistribution and safety parameters. Experience with IND-enabling studies and familiarity with GXP procedures and regulatory guidelines also welcome!
Must be commutable to Greater Boston (Waltham/Watertown area) or able to relocate with limited assistance.
