Research Associate/Senior Research Associate, LNP Formulation
We are a startup biotechnology company (stealth mode) seeking a highly motivated candidates to join our Delivery team. The successful candidate will work to develop, optimize, and evaluate lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations, as well as contribute to development of next generation delivery systems. She/he will gain technical experience in formulations research in a cross-functional, fast-paced role at an exciting new company.
Responsibilities
• Prepare, characterize and evaluate lipid nanoparticle formulations • Provide delivery-related support to platform and therapeutic programs • Engage in assay development and execution • Coordinate and maintain inventory, assist in ordering supplies/making reagents and maintain a safe and high-performing laboratory • Perform experiments, organize and analyze data, interpret results and summarize work in presentations and reports
Required Skills & Qualifications
• B.S./M.S. in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related discipline with 0-3 years of research experience • Prior experience with formulation processes is not required, although will be considered • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated record of independent research • Highly organized, detail-oriented and manages time effectively • Excellent oral and written communication
