Process Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced bioprocess engineer to help further develop and optimize their tissue-engineered products! 

 

You’ll work to develop automated processes around tissue culture in perfusion bioreactor systems with the end goal of creating life-saving products for patients! 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute SOPs outlining automated processes for tissue engineering experiments

  • Program and troubleshoot automated system and workflows, including perfusion bioreactors and large-scale culture systems

  • Work on prototyping of new methods and processes to continuously improve and optimize products

  • Perform CAPA and other failure analyses 

  • Other duties as necessary

 

Qualifications:

  • Scientific degree (bioengineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, etc)

  • Experience in aseptic mammalian cell culture 

  • Hands-on knowledge of relevant cell culture analytical methods

  • Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and programming equipment

  • Experience with perfusion bioreactor systems and large-scale culture and production environments
