Principal Associate Scientist, Biology

We’re looking for a dynamic scientist with expertise in cancer biology to join our client’s team. Your role will involve conducting cellular and molecular biology assays to assess drug activity and MOA. You’ll also contribute to the development of a groundbreaking new drug modality for cancer and other diseases.
Your profile:
- B.S. / M.S. in cell biology or a related field
- A solid background with 7+ years in the biotech/pharma industry
- Proven proficiency in high-throughput assay development
- Hands-on expertise in mammalian cell culture and cell-based assays
- Proficiency in protein detection and molecular biology techniques, including RNA extraction and qPCR
- Demonstrated experience in conducting high-throughput HiBiT and NanoBRET assays
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- The capability to autonomously execute experiments
The role:
- Execute protein-protein interaction assays, luciferase reporter assays, proliferation assays, western blot, qPCR, NanoBRET, ELISA/MSD, and HiBiT assays
- Play a key role in advancing lead compounds toward development candidate status and facilitating IND-enabling experiments
- Document, analyze, and communicate data to both the team and company leadership
- Collaborate across teams to identify and advance drug candidates to clinical development efficiently
- Capable of working at the physical workplace (must be fully vaccinated to engage in on-site work-related activities)
