PR Account Executive

Our client is a full-service marketing agency committed to delivering smart, insightful, effective creative campaigns for clients across public health, healthcare and consumer products. They are looking for a Public Relations Account Executive to help build communications strategies and solutions for their client base. The team is collaborative and supportive. And the agency is dedicated to supporting the community and building corporate initiatives surrounding diversity and inclusion.

THE ROLE:

  • Develop and execute PR campaigns to enhance the organization’s reputation, including crafting and distributing press releases and media alerts.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media contacts, influencers, and stakeholders to effectively pitch story ideas and manage media engagement.
  • Lead and guide team members and clients in creating strategic communication plans aligned with organizational goals, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify target audiences and develop compelling messages for various communication platforms.
  • Plan and execute events such as media briefings, press conferences, and promotional activities to boost public engagement.
  • Monitor media coverage and social media to track public sentiment, manage the organization’s online presence, and identify opportunities for engagement.

THE PROFILE:

  • 3-7 years of experience in public relations or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in PR software, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, social media platforms, and media monitoring tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proactive and creative problem-solving skills, familiarity with AP Style, and knowledge of current media trends and PR best practices.
