Responsibilities Include:

  • Partner with business leaders to develop their talent strategy supporting business growth while maintaining an engaging, respectful, and innovative work environment
  • Ensure alignment of business unit HR with corporate guidelines and processes
  • Review/analyze business metrics including data on retention and employee experience to recommend systemic improvements
  • Address employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests
  • Lead or contribute to various cross-team and/or cross-organizational HR projects
  • Serve as a trusted business partner and coach to senior leaders in the organization
  • Assist in the development/implementation of people plans and solutions to achieve people initiatives, delivering results in a work environment where all employees can thrive and grow
  • Provide compensation support to leaders for all salary actions including annual salary review, promotions, and job re-leveling
  • Support learning and development initiatives and foster a growth mindset
  • Coach business partners in career development, leadership, and management practices
  • Responsible for transactions to maintain recordkeeping integrity for the team
  • Partner with talent acquisition team on recruiting efforts and staffing needs
  • Coordinate with team to ensure background checking, onboarding, and integration to site
  • Ensure alignment between recruitment requests and business needs

 

In This Role You’ll Bring:

  • BS/MS/PhD or global equivalent, in Human Resources, Organizational Design, Psychology or other applicable field of study is required
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • 5+ years working in pharma or biotech
  • Proven ability to use financial or analytical skills in making fact based, data driven decisions
  • Ability to change quickly and lead others through the change cycle
  • In-depth knowledge of organizational design principles and best practice applications
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills (in English) that result in clear, effective communications
  • Strong presentation skills, both using technology and in person, that deliver compelling story lines to drive a decision or change
  • The ability to take large, complex data sets and distill down to key findings
  • Strong to advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite products and the ability to quickly learn and master other technology platforms
  • Experience in supporting senior managers from startup through acquisition integration in a biotech setting
