Candidate Deliverables: 

  • Mentor and Lead a team of scientists and associates in tackling inherited disorder intervention therapies
  • Prioritize and organize team studies to achieve deliverables
  • Set project goals and motivated the team to tackle any troubleshooting or scientific hurdles with relentless passion
  • Establish Cellular and Molecular technologies in-house and externally that will enable key scientific studies 
  • Effective communicate and collaborate across disciplines in motivating company projects and successful outcomes

Candidate Qualifications: 

  • Ph.D. in Cellular or Molecular Biology with 5+ years of industry experience in leading research teams
  • Expertise in Target Identification and/or Target Validation and genetic studies
  • Ability to provide expertise in discovery sciences to team and know when to seek other internal experts advice in approaching difficult scientific questions
  • Passion to help patients and families in working with urgency in your daily actions
  • Strong leadership ability and coaching expertise are inherent qualities you'll need to help foster and grow a team of passionate scientists and associates
  • A track record of successful discovery project progression must be evident in your career history
  • Ability to work in a change-environment where demands and priorities can change as a Biotech grows
