You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Recruitment, mentorship, and oversight of a team of scientists in the molecular biology/biochemistry field focused on mRNA/RNA biology.
- Lead a team of scientists in the design and development of cell lines as probes for various targets
- Building out the HTS workflows using state-of-the-art techniques in molecular biology/biochemistry and cell-based assays
- Guide development of small molecule platform to target mRNA/RNA
You’ll Bring With You:
- PhD in molecular/cellular biology, biochemistry, or related discipline with relevant impactful publications in mRNA, RNA, or small molecule drugging field
- 5-10 years’ industry experience in drug discovery and assay development
- Experience managing HTS and progressing lead compounds
- Excellent people management skills
- Strong background in RNA biology, specifically with mRNA splicing modulation studies or programs in past work history
- Ability to devise plans and work in an evolving biotech environment in applying cutting edge technology and progressing drug pipeline projects
