Our client needs your hands-on R&D Project Management expertise to support projects and programs in discovery and guide them to IND-enabling stages. In This Role You Will Be Responsible For:

•    Developing partnerships with R&D teammates and C-suite to drive research strategic plans and integrated development plans across the company’s pipeline. 
•    Effectively communicate with cross-functional team members, senior leaders and key stakeholders on the status, objectives, risks, and mitigation plans associated with projects. 
•    Build and maintain detailed integrated program timelines and ensure deliverables are achieved. 
•    Lead scenario planning and analysis to identify potential bottlenecks and issues and proactively seek resolutions.
•    Track and monitor key milestones and decision points to drive delivery of program objectives.
•    Organize team meetings using project management best practices and tools (MS Project, Excel, etc.) to drive cross-functional communication, timely and effective decision making, and successful execution of project objectives.
•    Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities for assigned projects. 
•    Effectively communicate with cross-functional team members, senior leaders and key stakeholders on the status, objectives, risks, and mitigation plans associated with projects.
•    Facilitate cross-program reporting and presentation of program information to senior leaders and other key stakeholders.
•    Identify bottlenecks and issues and seek their resolution. 
•    Track and monitor key milestones and decision points to drive delivery of program objectives. 
•    Facilitate team meetings using project management best practices/tools to drive cross-functional communication, timely and effective decision making, and successful execution of project objectives. 

You’ll Bring With You: 
•    BS/MS/PhD or MBA degree in Life Sciences or related field with 5+ years of R&D project management in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry. 
•    Strong understanding of R&D and drug development process required with IND filing experience very valuable. 
•    Impactful leadership skills, including demonstrated ability to lead a cross-functional team and to influence at all levels of an organization. 
•    Excellent analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills, including an ability to combine attention to detail with a big picture perspective. 
•    Effective oral and written communication skills, including presentation and facilitation skills, to effectively inform key updates & issues across all levels of the organization.
•    In addition you should bring a collaborative team-first mentality with ability to contribute to teams expertise with R&D Project Management insights. 
•    You should also bring the ability to work in a fast-paced biotech environment and adapt to evolving demands.

Salary Range: $175k-$225k commensurate with experience.
