Director of Marketing & Communications

Our client is making waves in the financial services industry. With incredibly strong funding and valuation in the market, they are one to watch. As they build out their US presence and GTM team, they are looking for a Director of Marketing & Communications to help position the brand amongst their target. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the fintech space and wants to build and grow something big.

This role is fully remote.

About the Role

As the Director of Marketing and Communications you will be responsible for driving events and external communications. Specifically, you will oversee field marketing (events /activations), PR & communications. This high-visibility role will allow frequently interact with the Founders and executive team globally,


Field Marketing

  • Build a state-of-the art events strategy (primary market USA) that allows us to capture mindshare across a number of industry events and also design and implement yet-to-be-conceptualized company-branded events
  • Execute and operationalize field marketing strategy
  • Manage local teams and vendors in each of these markets as appropriate


  • Contribute to growing brand presence and position in market through external communications – PR, media relations, profiling, crisis management, and drive on-going relationship building with the most significant publications and media houses.

Team Management

  • Manager a small team of marketers


  • 10+ years experience with experience leadership role as a global marketing leader with a proven track record in field marketing & communications
  • Experience with B2B enterprise, SaaS / Cloud-based products is a strong plus
  • Team player and mature and empowering manager
  • Strong design sensibility
  • Analytical orientation with ability to use data to answer questions and solve problems
  • Capacity and motivation to understand and build context on technology related to financial services and payment products
  • Strong relationship management skills – able to influence and manage the expectations of senior executives, partners, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships both internally and externally
  • Bachelor's degree
