Director of Marketing

Our client, a leading executive search firm, is looking to bring on a Director of Marketing to produce a client-centric marketing and brand approach that enhances the organization’s services, improves the overall client and candidate experience, and creates a compelling brand experience. 

POSITION DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement and manage a comprehensive marketing plan

  • Work closely with Executive, Business Development, Search teams to help leaders and colleagues achieve company goals

  • Oversee and deliver marketing strategy, including all digital, print and experiential marketing, campaigns, events/conferences, and media/PR

  • Manage all online and digital communication channels, materials and assets, including corporate website, digital mailings and social media, events, and brochures

  • Write and deliver engaging, quality messaging, content and materials for the company

  • Maintain marketing budget, oversee expenses and allocations

  • Track and manage conference initiatives including confirming sponsorships

  • Develop management reporting and analytics to track KPIs and results by channel; produce, review, analyze and deploy marketing data to drive strategy

  • Continuously identify new marketing opportunities and tactics to generate client business, contracts, and client satisfaction

  • Guide the day-to-day activities of the Marketing Team

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience managing various communications channels, including website and social media, for a brand, institution, or program

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to maintain professional composure when interacting with internal staff, clients and external parties

  • Demonstrated experience in creating successful marketing, communications and public relations messaging and collateral

  • Ability to initiate, advance and monitor several simultaneous projects

  • Excellent command of business technology software and programs, including CRM (Salesforce preferred), Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and cloud-based online systems (Box.com, etc.)

  • Versatile knowledge of website strategy and maintenance including UX, UI, SEO, and content management

  • A minimum of 5 years in a marketing role with a focus on digital experience
