Our client is a Boston-based biotech revolutionizing protein therapeutics with their first-in-class drug design platform. We are seeking a Director of Finance to join their expanding team. You will work directly with the CEO and CSO to make the best possible decisions regarding financial runway, fund allocation, company growth and risk management. You will maintain compliance and deliver accurate financial reporting for their start-up team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with adequate funding, new labs, and high energy founders from Harvard.

Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years of experience in financial leadership positions at high-growth companies
- Demonstrated ownership of financial reporting, processes, models, and key metrics
- Proven experience owning a multi-million-dollar budget
- Independent thinker with ability to make recommendations that improve processes
- Genuine passion for developing medicines and enabling teams
- Executive presence to persuade others to achieve excellence and to foster an environment of openness and teamwork
- Biotech startup experience preferred
