As a leader you will guide teams and projects in discovery and validation of targets in uncovering MOA and translational biomarkers. In This Role You Will: 

  • Lead and motivate cellular biology, preclinical, and translational efforts across disciplines to IND stages
  • Design and drive execution of strategy for cellular assay/screening, target validation, POC, and PD biomarkers as programs translate to FIH trials
  • Ability to lead internal teams and external CRO partnerships in scientific program objectives
  • Have a seat at leadership table in assessing and prioritizing candidates 
  • Experience in protein-protein interactions, PROTAC/degraders, and other cutting-edge cancer targeted approaches
  • Grow a team of cancer biologists and cultivate scientific excellence with in it
  • Have the ability to present critical go/no-go decision points backed up with data to inform key stake holders of program progress and success
  • Contribute to written IND sections and agency requests with regulatory teams

You Will Bring the Following Requirements: 

  • Ph.D. in Cancer Biology, Cell or Molecular Biology or related field with 10+ years industry Biotech/Pharmaceutical experience in leading programs and managing teams
  • A track record of program success in driving biology and translational studies to IND stages
  • Innovative ability to tackle difficult to drug targets and develop novel therapeutic approaches with a talented team of biologists, chemists, and other colleagues
  • Publications in top journals of notability within the cancer biology space
  • Ability to take on multiple priorities and adapt to shifting changes as is natural in a growing biotech companies evolution
