Controller Position
We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead the financial operations of our growing manufacturing organization. This role will oversee all accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and provide strategic financial insight to leadership and ownership.
The Controller will play a critical leadership role in strengthening financial processes, improving reporting capabilities, and help guide the company’s continued growth. This position works closely with ownership and operational leaders to drive sound financial decision-making across the organization.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance leader with strong manufacturing accounting experience who enjoys building processes, improving systems, and partnering with leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Reporting
- Lead all accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, cost accounting, and inventory accounting
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition, inventory valuation, and expense tracking
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards and performance metrics
- Present financial resulting and insights to ownership and leadership
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures
- Coordinate annual audits and tax preparation with external accounting firm
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
Operational & Strategic Support
- Evaluate capital investments and major expenditures
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies
- Support long-term financial planning and strategic initiatives
Team Leadership
- Supervise and develop accounting team members
- Establish performance expectations and provide coaching and mentorship
- Promote collaboration across finance and operational teams
