Director / Associate Media Director – Media Planning

We’re partnering with a media agency seeking a skilled media strategist to lead planning across a range of media channels. This role is ideal for someone who can seamlessly flex between team leadership and individual contribution—bringing a strong strategic point of view, fluency in media tools, and a passion for delivering innovative, client-centric solutions.

You’ll take ownership of developing and defending media plans, guiding teams through budget cycles, and ensuring all deliverables are accurate, timely, and strategically sound. You’ll also be a key partner to clients and internal stakeholders—bringing fresh thinking to drive performance and business growth.


THE PROFILE

We’re looking for a media planning leader with:

  • 5–7 years of media planning experience

  • Proven experience across a wide range of media:

    • Video (TV, CTV, OLV)

    • Audio (Terrestrial & Streaming)

    • Digital (Programmatic, Partnerships)

    • Social, Search, and OOH/DOOH

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills—you can clearly present ideas and defend strategy

  • Ability to guide both client conversations and internal team deliverables

  • Hands-on experience with tools like Nielsen AdIntel, MRI, Telmar, and Strata

  • A collaborative, organized, and detail-oriented mindset

  • A desire to introduce new ideas and push client thinking forward
