Our Boston, MA client, a global biotechnology company, is looking for a Head of External Communications.  In addition to having several products on the market, they have more than a dozen clinical development programs underway which are focused on several disease areas.  Ranked as a top place to work, this is an exciting time to join them as they continue to expand around the world. This role is based in Boston; there is no option to telecommute, but the client is open to relocating a star candidate.

In this role, you will lead the company’s external-facing corporate communications, which includes media strategy and relations, corporate (major business, leadership and/or product announcements), crisis and issues management, patient community communications and other communications activities that highlight what the company is doing as well as positioning them for growth.

This is a highly visible role where you will have regular interaction with executives across all functions, including the C-suite, legal, investor relations, regulatory and other key groups.
