HireMinds is assisting a growing REIT with their search for an experienced Asset Manager.  Working closely with team members and senior leadership, the Asset Manager will be a key contributor to the effective management of a portfolio of commercial properties and maximizing the company’s return on investment.
Primary responsibilities for the Asset Manager will include:
•    Manage a portfolio of commercial assets maximizing ROI
•    Work with team members on tasks including budgeting, expenses, contract review and risk management Implement the company’s strategy for leasing including review of leases prior to execution
•    Interact with Property Managers, Financial teams and 3rd party vendors to ensure effective operations of assets
•    Prepare and review management reports with teams to limit risks and increase profitability
•    Lead the budgeting and reporting for individual properties
•    Monitor Cash Flow, Budgets and Capital Expenditures
•    Assist senior leadership with special projects and ad-hoc analysis

Interested candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 6-8 years of related financial/asset management experience.  Experience with Commercial Assets is required as is strong technical, verbal and written communication skills.
