A leading area employer is actively looking to hire a Financial Analyst to support one of their largest business units. This position will report to a Director and work closely with senior management across multiple departments.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and analyze financial reports
• Work closely with Corporate Accounting to research and resolve variances
• Analyze and explain financial results to senior management
• Lead analytical projects within and across multiple business units
• Support senior management with ad-hoc analysis and research

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3 years of technical accounting experience
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• CPA and/or MBA preferred

Our rapidly-growing client, located in the Greater Boston area, is looking for a freelance, Finance Specialist who can join their team and build out multiple financial programs and forecasting for an upcoming board meeting. This is an onsite role, working closely with the COO. You will be taking existing information as well as creating new reports and creating different 3-year financial programs and building full funnel business models from the bottom up and top down. Programs will include operating expenses, fixed and variable costs, employee costs, etc. This is a 6-week opportunity, and could be part-time or full, depending on the candidate's availability. and capabilities.

To qualify, you should have extensive finance expertise and have been in a CPA, Auditor, Senior Accountant,Investment Banker or similar role. You must be able to work independently and hit the ground running without training.

Senior Credit Analyst – Commercial and Consumer Finance

Our client has recently created a new role on their staff for an experienced Credit Analyst.  The Senior Credit Analyst will work closely with senior management, commercial and consumer clients as well as board members to develop, implement and monitor an effective Credit and Risk plan for a growing portfolio of loans as the “subject matter expert”.

Coming from the Commercial Banking, Lending and/or Credit industry this individual will have 4-5 years of related credit and risk analysis experience.  Including the ability to develop policies and procedures, best practices, scoring models and competitive analysis.  In addition to having strong written and verbal communication skills candidates should have experience with:

  • Reviewing and underwriting Commercial and Consumer loans
  • Assessing the credit worthiness of current and future borrowers
  • Develop and implement approval conditions for existing and future loans
  • Create models and train on appropriate scoring criteria
  • Analyze risks on loan requests with a thorough review of applicant financial records
  • Create ad-hoc and monthly financial models to compare internal and competitor programs

Qualified candidates for this role will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related business field, 4-5 years of related credit/risk analysis experience working for a Commercial Bank, Lending, Credit or related Financial Institution.  Individuals with a Master’s degree or significant progress towards completing an advanced degree are encouraged to apply for this role.
