HireMinds is representing an established Business Services firm that provides outsourced accounting and financial services to small and mid-sized companies throughout the greater Boston and South Shore area. Due to an increase in new business they are looking to hire an experienced Payroll Professional to their Client Services Team.

6-8 years of related payroll and tax experience working in a similar capacity are required.  Experience in the following areas is preferred:
•    Processing multiple client payroll, accurately and in a timely manner
•    Coordination of direct deposit and related disbursements
•    Calculation of local, state and federal tax withholdings
•    Determine employer Social Security, Workers Compensation, Medicare, 
Medicaid and Unemployment taxes
•    Filing and payment of quarterly and annual payroll taxes
•    Preparation of employee tax documents including form W-2
•    Management of retirement, cafeteria, insurance and related deductions
•    Provide payroll General Ledger entries to clients for proper documentation

Payroll Coordinator – Boston

A growing National Service Company based in Boston is actively looking to hire an experience Payroll Coordinator to their staff. Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working closely with the Corporate Accounting group this individual will be the corporate liaison to all internal staff regarding all Payroll related issues.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare weekly and bi-weekly payroll for corporate and national employees
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of data including payroll tax information
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date benefit details for employees
• Process wage garnishments and other related deductions
• Provide senior management with monthly and quarterly payroll reporting data
• Support month and year-end close activities as they relate to the payroll function
• Reconcile payroll and vendor accounts resolving any discrepancies
• Troubleshoot any payroll related queries from employees
• Provide any ad-hoc reporting or analysis as it relates to payroll

Qualified candidates for this position must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3-5 years of high volume Payroll experience (500+ multi-state employees). Strong technical abilities including online and in-house payroll system knowledge is preferred. Professional written and verbal communication skills are a must for this role.

Payroll Coordinator – Business Services - Boston
